Connection Failed

Unable to connect to Home Assistant at http://homeassistant:8123. The access token may be invalid or expired.

Possible Issues:

  • Invalid or expired access token

    The configured long-lived access token may be invalid or has been revoked.

  • Home Assistant is not accessible

    The Home Assistant instance at the configured URL may be offline or unreachable.

  • Network connectivity issues

    There may be network problems preventing connection to Home Assistant.

How to Fix:

  1. Verify Home Assistant is Running:
    • Check that Home Assistant is accessible at http://homeassistant:8123
    • Try opening the URL in your browser to confirm it's reachable
  2. Generate a New Access Token:
    • Open Home Assistant and go to your profile
    • Scroll down to "Long-Lived Access Tokens"
    • Delete the old token if it exists
    • Click "Create Token" and give it a name
    • Copy the newly generated token
  3. Update the Add-on Configuration:
    • Go to Settings → Add-ons
    • Click on the Puppet add-on
    • Go to the Configuration tab
    • Update the "access_token" field with the new token
    • Save and restart the add-on
  4. Refresh this page

    Once fixed, refresh this page to try connecting again.
